Editorial Policy: How Beeznez Tech Writes and Reviews Products
Last updated: October 6, 2026
This page explains how articles on Beeznez Tech are researched, written, tested, and updated. We want the process to be clear so you can judge our work and so you know what to expect when you read, cite, or act on an article.
Beeznez Tech is run by Md Abdur Rouf Mia from Bangladesh. Every article on the site is written by him unless an author is named on the post. Read more on the About page and the Author page.
1. What We Cover
We publish four kinds of articles:
- Explainer and news pieces that put a recent announcement, lawsuit, settlement, or platform change in plain English and tell you what it means in practice.
- Cost breakdowns and “true cost” pieces that show what a SaaS tool, a self-hosted setup, or a workflow actually costs in real money and time.
- Comparison and buyer-guide pieces that score tools against a published rubric.
- How-to guides, playbooks, and downloadable resources for founders, freelancers, and small teams.
2. Our Research Process
Every article starts with research, not writing. For each piece we aim to do the following, in order:
- Identify the primary source. We look for the company announcement, the official documentation, the court filing, the regulatory notice, or the executive order before reading news coverage.
- Cross-check with a second source. For factual claims, we look for at least one additional independent source — a second reputable news outlet, an industry analyst, or a working user’s write-up.
- Read the product documentation ourselves before making claims about features, pricing tiers, or limits.
- Test where possible. If we can, we install or sign up for the product, exercise the specific feature being discussed, and record our findings.
- Write and cite inline. Sources are linked inline so you can check any claim by clicking through.
Articles link out to primary sources — company announcements, official documentation, regulatory filings, and reputable news outlets. Where a claim rests on a single source, we say so.
3. How We Test Products
When we review a SaaS tool, an AI product, or a self-hosted piece of software, we try to do it hands-on. Where we succeed, the article will normally say something like “I tested [product] for [duration] on [setup].” Where we cannot test — because the product is enterprise-only, region-locked, or behind a sales call — we say so explicitly and rely on documentation, recorded demos, and reputable third-party reviews instead of pretending otherwise.
We also note when an article is based on brief hands-on use versus long-term use. A two-week test is not the same as a six-month production deployment, and the article will say which one it is.
4. How We Use AI — And Where It Stops
Md Abdur Rouf Mia uses AI tools for research, outlining, and editing. Specifically:
- Research. We use AI assistants to summarise primary sources and surface related articles, then verify any claim against the original source before it goes into a draft.
- Outline and structure. Drafts typically start with a hand-written outline of the argument we want to make and the question the article answers.
- Editing. We use AI to tighten prose, check tone, and flag placeholders. Every draft is then rewritten by the author in his own voice before publication.
- No fully automated articles. No article on Beeznez Tech is published without a human-written, human-edited, and human-reviewed draft from Md Abdur Rouf Mia. No article is generated by prompt and posted unchanged. Where a guest author uses AI, they are required to disclose it on the post.
If you want the deeper version, with examples of “good” and “bad” AI-assisted writing, the article E-E-A-T and AI Content in 2026 goes into it in detail.
5. Sources, Citations, and What “Original” Means
We treat original content as content that adds something you could not generate by rephrasing the first page of a Google result. Practically, that means we try to include at least one of the following on every pillar article:
- A real-number cost breakdown, with the assumptions spelled out.
- A worked example that walks through a single case end to end.
- A downloadable resource (template, checklist, JSON workflow, spreadsheet).
- Original screenshots or workflows from a hands-on test.
- An “I would not use it for…” or “Where I was wrong” section that reflects the author’s experience.
When we write about class-action settlements, lawsuits, or regulatory actions, we link to the official settlement website, court docket, or government press release, not just to secondary coverage.
6. Conflicts of Interest
Beeznez Tech participates in affiliate programs with several vendors. Details are on our Affiliate Disclosure. The short version:
- Affiliate relationships never change our editorial verdict. We do not write positive reviews because we earn a commission, and we do not write negative ones to push a competitor. We update articles when the underlying product changes, not when the commission rate does.
- Sponsored posts are labelled. Any content paid for by a third party is marked “Sponsored” or “Paid partnership” at the top of the article.
- We do not accept payment to change a verdict on a product already reviewed.
- We do not use undisclosed sponsored links. Affiliate and other paid links are disclosed on the page where they appear and on our Affiliate Disclosure page.
7. Corrections and Updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it.
- We add a correction note at the bottom of the affected article explaining what changed and when. We do not silently rewrite history.
- When we make a meaningful update to an article, we note the update date and, where it helps, a short “What changed” line.
- You can report a mistake by email or the contact form. We read every report and reply when a correction is made.
8. What We Will Not Publish
To keep the site useful and trustworthy, we do not publish:
- Auto-generated article farms. No article is published without a human-written draft and a human review pass.
- Paid links or link insertions. No one pays us to add a link to a page that would not otherwise link to them.
- Misinformation about legal, medical, or financial matters. If a topic falls under those categories, we either stay out of it, cite qualified sources prominently, or label the article as commentary rather than advice.
- Content that targets minors, promotes violence, or infringes on others’ rights. Our Children’s Privacy notice spells out our policy on minors.
9. Reader Privacy and Data
Article content is free to read. Our use of cookies, analytics, advertising, and any email signup we offer is described in our Privacy Policy. The short version: we keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to reply, we let you unsubscribe from emails in one click, and we do not sell personal information.
